BIG Kaiser Precision Toolings New Indexable Drill Design Provides Deeper Boring Depth
February 19, 2007
BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling introduces its newest indexable insert drills.
According to the companys press release, the new design features straight flutes, which guarantee a short distance for chip evacuation and high radial and torsional rigidity.
The KAB connection features a very high clamping force due to a large seating diameter. This enables drilling under extreme conditions such as inclined entry or exit surfaces and interruptions in the hole. The large chip space guarantees a good chip evacuation and high cutting performance.
The indexable insert drills are available in 16-30mm and 3xD & 4xD with KA6 connection. The indexable inserts used in these drills are available for all kinds of workpiece materials, with four true cutting edges. The Kaiser KA6 adjustable drill holder allows the drills to cut fractional sizes as well.
