A heavy duty set of keyway broaches, bushings and shims designed for cutting a complete range of keyways from 1/8" to 3/4" without duplication was recently introduced by The duMont Corp. According to duMont’s press release, the 100 Heavy Duty Combination Set is the most complete MinuteMan broach set offered by the company. It can be used in pulleys, gears, collars and similar pieces encountered in experimental, maintenance, machine assembly and limited production work. Broaches are push-type and can be used with any hand-operated arbor press or hydraulic press with adequate throat opening. The 100 set is completely furnished with nine high speed steel broaches, 44 bushings and necessary shims to cut 102 keyway combinations.
