John H. Hooper, senior vice president and general manager of Inductoheat Inc. has retired after 35 years of service at the Inductotherm Group. Over the years, Hooper spearheaded international sales efforts in India and South America while founding Inductoheat Korea.
“John has helped build a world-leading induction heating organization and leaves behind him a very capable team,” says Gary Doyon, CEO and group VP.
Inductoheat’s former president of forging, Doug Brown, was appointed president and COO of the company January 1. Brown previously worked as the international sales manager of the mass heating division, president of Alpha 1 and president of forging. Brown will be in charge of Inductoheat’s contributions to induction heating technology by providing innovation in proven products and new patented technology, according to the company’s press release.
