Spain Manufacturing Technology Represented at IMTS

Despite a challenging economy, Spain continues to demonstrate commitment across all growth industries, including manufacturing technology. The obligation to research and development made by Spanish companies has enabled them to be at the cutting edge of the manufacturing sector and compete with major international corporations. This commitment will be on full display in Chicago at IMTS 2010 where ten Spanish companies will be present to exhibit their latest technological innovations. José Luis Briceño, director of Industry and Technology at the Trade Commission of Spain, as well as a representative from the Spanish Machine Tools Manufacturing Association (AFM), (Booth W-299), will be on hand to discuss Spain's advancements in manufacturing and the positive impact on the country's development and future growth. Companies include Autopulit S.A., Canela Corporation, Danobat Machine Tool Co., ETXE-TAR S.A., GMTK, IZAR, Mecanica Comercial Meco, ONA EDM and Soraluce.
