The program committee for the 2014 World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials (PM2014) has issued a “Call for Papers & Posters” covering the latest developments in powder metallurgy (PM) materials, processes, and applications. Held once every six years in North America and sponsored by the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) in cooperation with APMI International, the conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, May 18–22, 2014, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
Technical program co-chairmen Russell A. Chernenkoff, Metaldyne LLC and W. Brian James, FAPMI, Hoeganaes Corporation, request abstracts of 100–150 words, covering any aspect of PM and particulate materials technology. In addition, several key topics have been identified for in-depth discussion within the special interest programs, such as NDT/Failure Analysis, Machinability, Fatigue, and Technologies for PM Growth.
The 9th Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials Conference will be held in conjunction with the PM2014 World Congress. All abstracts on the topic of refractory metals, carbides, and ceramics should be submitted for the tungsten conference. Abstract submission for both conferences is done through the same online submission site. The program committee requests that abstracts be submitted by September 6, 2013.
