In an effort to expand its sales team’s reach and expertise, EMAG L.L.C. (Farmington Hills, MI) has introduced David Fitzgerald as the new regional sales manager for the mid-Atlantic coastal states while Ric Lorilla has been brought on board as the oil country tubular goods (OCTG) sales manager.
Fitzgerald, responsible for the states of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina as well as the eastern regions of Georgia and Florida, brings his grinding experience to the German machine tool company. A mechanical engineering and mechanical production graduate of Charles Keene and Leicester University, England, Fitzgerald has over 20 years of experience with CNC surface, cylindrical and creep feed grinding machines.
Ric Lorilla graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Southern Methodist University and worked as an order execution and technical sales engineer in the pipeline field of the oil and gas industry prior to joining EMAG. With experience in engineering design, project management, and logistics with pipelines and OCTG, Lorilla will head efforts expanding EMAG further into the energy market in Texas and Louisiana.
“Our goal is to continue growing, building strong relationships within the industry and consulting to provide manufacturing line solutions,” said Peter Loetzner, CEO of EMAG L.L.C. “The addition of a grinding specialist and someone established in the OCTG industry will allow us to increase the reach of EMAG’s technologies.”
To support the education of manufacturing technicians, Loetzner also expressed his anticipation for the beginning of the MAT2 program. Two Mechatronic apprentices will join the company in January, after completing 14 weeks of technical schooling. EMAG’s participation offers students the opportunity to work and study simultaneously, assisting in securing the future of an advanced manufacturing workforce.
