Featuring four cutting edges, the Hi-Quad Plunge offers .45" max. radial depth of cut capability (depending on corner radius). It excels in general purpose roughing and long reach plunge applications and is suitable for roughing on small spindle machines. The inserts offer clean shearing high-temp alloy geometry and strong flat top geometry. Materials include iron, steel, stainless steel and high-temp alloys with grades: IN2530, IN2535, IN4005, IN4015, IN4030, IN4035.
