Paulo Selects AFC-Holcroft Equipment for Production Expansion
April 16, 2015
Paulo, a commercial heat treater headquartered in St. Louis, MO, USA, recently purchased two new Universal Batch Quench (UBQ) furnaces from AFC-Holcroft, to be installed at their Kansas City Division.
The new equipment, standard 36-48-36 sized units with top cool chambers, was customized to integrate with Paulo’s existing UBQ batch furnaces already in operation.
This recent order is equipped with a state-of-the-art furnace controls system which will also integrate with Paulo’s existing production and quality control systems. Paulo supports a wide variety of aerospace, automotive and agricultural customers, many with stringent quality requirements; subsequently the ability to comply with the end user’s reporting requirements is of critical importance.
Mike Neumann of AFC-Holcroft stated, “Paulo is a longtime customer of AFC-Holcroft and we were excited about working on another furnace project with a leader in the commercial heat treating industry. We supplied them with our standard UBQ 36-48-36 design with some unique features to meet their production and quality system requirements”.
The equipment is being built by AFC-Holcroft’s partner MATTSA, then shipped to the customer’s facility in Kansas City, Missouri for installation. The equipment will be delivered in the second quarter, 2015.
Paulo offers a wide variety of heat treating, brazing and metal finishing solutions as well as a broad range of metallurgical and engineering services.
