Koepfer America Hires David Harroun as Sales Manager

Koepfer America welcomes the addition of David Harroun in the position of sales manager. Harroun will strengthen the company’s sales efforts of all gear manufacturing products, comprising hobbing machines, shaping machines, worm milling machines, hard finishing tools, and cutting tools. With the addition of Mr. Harroun, Koepfer America will provide more focused technical sales support for North American manufacturers of all types and sizes of gears.

Dennis Gimpert, president, said of Harroun’s hiring, “We are excited to welcome David back to Koepfer America. His 11+ years of experience in the gear industry allows our company to grow into the future and provide our customers with the dedicated customer service and gear manufacturing solutions they trust.”

Most recently, Harroun was the business unit manager for gear hard finishing products at Radiac Abrasives, a Tyrolit Company. (Koepfer America has distributed Tyrolit gear products for over a decade.) Commenting on his new employment, Harroun said, “Koepfer America has been a strong partner for Tyrolit, so this is a natural move. My new role will ensure that gear manufacturers gain better service and more focused technical solutions for gear hard finishing in addition to other processes.”
