Kapp Technologies has announced that Shane Hollingsworth has joined their sales team. Hollingsworth will represent Kapp Niles customers in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains, focusing on companies in the aerospace, energy, mining, construction and agriculture industries.

“Shane’s gear manufacturing experience and industry perspective uniquely enables him to be a valuable resource and advocate for our customers," said Bill Miller, vice president of sales at Kapp Technologies. “His skill, energy, aptitude and attitude complements our Kapp Niles team nicely.”

 

Hollingsworth received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2007. After graduation he assumed the role of gear tool engineer at Fairfield Manufacturing, in Lafayette, Indiana, dedicating his efforts to perishable tool design, technical reviews and new technology initiatives. He was also involved in gear grinding and cutting equipment acquisitions. In the last few years at Fairfield he transitioned into sales, beginning first as a sales engineer and more recently, regional sales manager.

Hollingsworth's background is an excellent fit for the Kapp Group of companies. He will be a great asset to identifying solutions for Kapp Niles customers’ gear grinding requirements.
