Beth Ann Jones, vice president and general counsel for Hangsterfer's Laboratories, was named President of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA).
During the closing President's Dinner of the ILMA's 68th Annual Meeting held in Scottsdale, AZ on October 15-18, Frank H. Hamilton III, ILMA's 2015-2016 president, handed over the gavel to the 2016-2017 president, Beth Ann Jones. Jones is happy to continue a family tradition; her sister, Leslie Jones, was ILMA's president in 1999-2000. Jones is eager to work on moving ILMA's new strategic plan forward and continuing the great success earned by Hamilton and his predecessors.
In her acceptance speech, Jones reflected on her lifelong involvement with ILMA: "Hangsterfer's became members because we knew ILMA's worth and value in the industry; it has been an honor to become part of the ILMA family. I look out and see such good friends I've made over these years, from suppliers to competitors, people in different industries, mentors and friends, and we all come together as ILMA."
Jones is a member of the fourth generation of family to run Hangsterfer's Laboratories.
