Dontyne Gears will bring their expertise in design, manufacture and testing to thousands of visitors at EMO Hannover along with samples of their specially brewed beers, Big in Japan and Self-Made Maniac. Dontyne Gears’ investment in the show reflects the growing recognition the team are generating for their innovative developments in gear design, testing and inspection.
From a U.K. base on Washington’s Turbine Business Park, the team has been developing a center of excellence for companies who require external expertise in the development, manufacture, testing and inspection of a wide range of gears. In collaboration with Osaka Seimitsu Kikai of Japan, the team at Dontyne Gears has developed highly accurate gear measuring equipment to enable a cost-effective and efficient gear development program. For their clients, this ensures a quick and accurate turn around for design, testing and inspection of bespoke gear systems. Built from the significant experience of years spent in the gear industry through sister company Dontyne Systems, Dontyne Gears was born to address the need in the industry for small testing programs to support businesses of all sizes.
Whilst Dontyne Gears will be discussing all their individual services with visitors to their booth in Hall 6, Stand C98 during EMO Hannover, the real benefit is for those visitors who are interested in developing entire gear development programs from design to inspection.
"Since launching Dontyne Gears we have been working with several partners including Osaka Seimitsu Kikai, Renishaw plc and Höganäs AB to develop the skills and expertise in-house to design, manufacture, test and inspect complex gear systems for a range of businesses and industries. Whilst clients will benefit from working with us on any one of those individual services, the real value comes in working on end-to-end gear development programs that create the specific system they need for their organization. Exhibiting at EMO Hannover is a big commitment for our business but based on recent growth and interest from Europe and beyond it is the ideal time to be engaging with visitors and securing contracts for the future," said Michael Fish, director of Dontyne Gears.
Dontyne Gears is looking forward to welcoming visitors from across the industry for a beer and a chat about the services and benefits they can offer. Visitors can choose from a range of specially brewed liquids, produced on the company’s premises with a range that includes Big In Japan, an amber style ale through to Mucky Dog, a more traditional Newcastle brown ale.
