Founded in 1994 and growing from just 20 employees to over 300 personnel located throughout the world in sales and service subsidiaries in 15 countries, Open Mind's hyperMILL software suite is one of the world's leading CAD/CAM solutions. 

Notably, Open Mind developed the world's first CAD/CAM system utilizing an automatic multi-axis simultaneous machining strategy for mold and die, as well being the first developer in the industry to provide auto-indexing, and strategies for using conical barrel cutters and 5-Axis helical drilling. The company continues to be at the forefront of key and emerging technologies, such as providing integration with additive manufacturing processes and supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives.
