Ingersoll announces a new CVD coating for high temp alloy finish turning. The TT3005 features a high abrasion resistant ultra-fine substrate, multi-layered CVD coating for very high wear resistance and predictable, machining stability. It's surface treated, smooth coating layer prevents built-up edges and enhances chip evacuation. TT3005 is suitable for high-speed finish machining of aerospace materials. It offers a distinctive shiny, purple periphery for easy recognition.
