Verisurf Software has announced it has appointed Daniel ‘Danny’ Southerly to the position of regional sales manager, South-Central. In his new role, Southerly will assist current customers and help develop new opportunities by identifying and solving measurement challenges in the aerospace, automotive, gas and oil industries.

With his many years of metrology experience and a track record of building long-term customer relationships, I am confident he will provide excellent added value for our customers’,” said Pat Bass, director of sales.

Prior to joining Verisurf, Southerly spent twelve-years (all in the South-Central region) with Automated Precision, Inc (API); first as a calibration engineering manager, then metrology application engineer, and serving the last seven-years as regional operations manager for the API Dallas, Texas facility where he managed all contract service work.

Southerly's relentless pursuit of quality, practical metrology experience and education, which includes, Aerospace Engineering and Jet Propulsion, College of the Air Force, 2001, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Villanova University, 2020, and certified jet engine specialist makes him uniquely qualified for his new position with Verisurf. 

He is a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force with distinctions for service in Kosovo and Southwest Asia.
