WomenPower Career Conference Takes Place at Hannover Messe 2021
November 25, 2020
A broad audience views lectures and discussions streamed from three stages onto a digital event platform. On-site attendees participate in exclusive, interactive WomenPower workshops at the adjacent NORD LB Forum, observing current hygiene and safety regulations.
"During the pandemic, all attendees decide for themselves how they want to take part in the congress. We already demonstrated our digital competence earlier this year at the Hannover Messe Digital Days and found that the integration of WomenPower topics works extremely well," says Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO at Deutsche Messe AG. Speakers at the Digital Days included Sabine Bendiek (at the time, head of Microsoft Germany); Dorothee Bär, Germany’s state minister for digital initiatives; and manager and consultant Janina Kugel.
Thanks to its hybrid format, WomenPower enables close exchange between business, industry, research, and politics while covering current topics such as the challenges of increasingly digital collaboration, organizational development, personal career development, and equal opportunity. The agenda focuses on preparation for the working world of the future. Never before have development and solidarity been more important, which is why WomenPower joins the best of analog and digital worlds for the benefit of all participants.
One highlight at WomenPower is the presentation of the Engineer Powerwoman Award, which recognizes an expert who has helped her company make significant progress in a technical area. The call for applications is open to companies and institutions in and outside of Germany, but limited to one nomination per company.
WomenPower starts on April 16, 2021 at Hannover Messe.
