Emuge-Franken USA, a leading manufacturer of high-performance taps, thread mills, drills, end mills, clamping devices and other rotary tools, has announced the appointment of Mr. Mike Patterson as National Sales Manager for the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Patterson brings to Emuge extensive industry knowledge and management experience. He is responsible for leading the Emuge-Franken sales organization in the U.S. and Canada to further strengthen support for customers and distributor partners, as well as to grow market share.

Previously, the external helical gearing was manufactured on one machine and the curvic coupling gearing on a second machine. The external and internal cylindrical grinding was then carried out on a third machine in two consecutive process steps.
