Seco Tools Production Unit (PU) in Mexico opened on September 29th. The new plant houses special tool manufacturing. This strategic move will allow Seco Tools to consolidate its presence in the Mexican market which extends and strengthens the configuration of its manufacturing chains worldwide.

Star Cutter Company has announced that it will be continuing its support of Alpena Community College’s manufacturing programs through increased monetary and equipment donations to the college. The donations will be supplied over a two-year period of time, helping to bring state-of-the art manufacturing equipment, such as grinding machines and optical comparators, to the center for hands-on training opportunities.
Sandvik Coromant has appointed two new members to its management group. Michael Eneberg began his new role as vice president and head of global sales on May 1, 2022, while Nicolas Dellachiesa will join as head of merger and acquisitions (M&A) in June. Reporting to Sandvik Coromant President, Helen Blomqvist, both Eneberg and Dellachiesa will play vital roles in driving the company’s global growth forward.
