A newly developed measuring probe now allows Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH the possibility of precise corrective measurement in the gear shaping machine. The measuring probe sits directly on the tool spindle and is therefore in the same coordinate system as the pinion type cutter itself. This reduces inaccuracies which might arise due to a tool change or turning a workpiece and leads to considerably higher quality and process reliability.

Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions announces the introduction of three new systems that will reduce labor and improve performance throughout the entire machining process.

The new ANCA MX7 ULTRA can manufacture large volumes of precision endmills and other cutting tools. The minute size of a micron is beyond the human eye, but by moving from micrometers to nanometers, ANCA will offer the highest accuracy and quality in a cutting tool in the market.

At AMB 2022, WFL Millturn Technologies will be presenting the new M20 MILLTURN complete machining center for the first time. Alongside gear skiving technology, there is clear trend toward automation and the integration of sensors. The latest solutions from WFL range from smart software to screw programming through to intelligent tools and clamping devices.

Forming tools are expensive, often made from carbide and tool steel. Carbide grinding is often the first choice today because customer requirements have increased and continue to increase in terms of complexity, dimensional accuracy and reproducibility. Apart from that, production must also be significantly more economical.

Beaumont Machine is a builder of Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) for the aerospace, power gen and electronics production industries. Founded by Ed and Tanya Beaumont over 30 years ago, the company was recently repurchased, after the owners had sold the business in early 2013.
