At the Control trade fair for quality assurance, Jenoptik offered a variety of automated measuring and inspection stations as well as new sensors and functions of the proven measurement technology for the target groups of automotive manufacturers and suppliers. Here are some highlights:

Schunk expands digital planning options for automated solutions with two new tools for designing and configuring linear modules. This easy access to expert knowledge is a further step towards offering customers an uncomplicated and secure way to customize design and quickly integrate it into the system planning.

The KIT-RR Chuck System from SMW Autoblok is comprised of the RR Adapter and the RR soft top jaws, which can be easily locked and unlocked with the push of a pin. The RR System is designed to provide the highest levels of quality, precision and safety while eliminating the need for screws and complicated change operations. 

A new version of the MESYS shaft and rolling bearing analysis software including new functionality is available. The bearing analysis software allows the calculation of the load distribution within the bearing and bearing life according to ISO/TS 16281 and it is integrated in a shaft system calculation with additional possibilities like modal analysis, strength calculation for shafts and interfaces to gear calculations. Currently the software is used by customers in 32 countries on 4 continents.

Fast-Trac Jaw Nuts from Dillon Manufacturing allows users to change jaws in half the time, according to customers who have made the switch. This system lets users preassemble the jaws required for the next operation while the machine is running a separate job, thus minimizing jaw change time and maximizing productivity and profitability.

In the development environment for SKRIPT, the option of setting breakpoints was created with KISSsoft Release 2024. If the progress of the script is interrupted, the values of the variables are displayed.

HWR Workholding USA has announced multiple new additions to its SOLIDLine family of innovative zero-point workholding. Available immediately, the new products include SOLIDGrip MAXX for large workpieces, SOLIDBolt FLEXX for direct integration with pallets and tables of select machine tool builders, pyramids for increased capacity in 5-axis machines, and mounting plates to streamline tombstone setups.
