Considering the unprecedented growth in wind energy production—45 percent growth in 2007—this wind power workshop responds to the major opportunities for manufacturers and component suppliers across all industries to feed the wind energy supply chain and expand their businesses. Attendance is recommended for a range of relevant industries including wind turbine manufacturers, mechanical and electrical components manufacturers and suppliers, construction equipment suppliers, operations and maintenance service companies and consultants. Various topics will be covered such as wind energy 101, the technology behind wind turbines, the state of the industry, economic potential and supply chain challenges and constraints and potential opportunities to address them.
