This year's CTI Automotive Transmissions Symposium is focusing on further developmens to increase efficiency of competing transmission concepts for different vehicle types. Strategic solutions and lessons learned from serial production will be presented for cars as well as light and heavy duty vehicles.

In over 20 of the 90 lectures, current activities in the alternative drives sector will be presented. These cover a wide range of topics from electric vehicles like the Mitsubishi i-MiEV to transmissions for hybrid drives and fuel cell vehicles and management.

An Introductory Day covers basic theory and practice of conventional vehicle drivetrains and transmissions, and hybrid and electric drives. On December 3, the Test Drives at the ADAC Driving Safety Center in Berlin/Brandenburg provides hands-on experience.
