The last "Nacht der Unternehmen" event was held on 12 September 2016. A total of 13 companies took part, including Klingelnberg as the region's largest employer. The regional project was initiated at the time by the Arbeitskreis Wirtschaft [Business Working Group] to reach out to new employees and trainees in particular. The event was also a good opportunity for Klingelnberg employees themselves to introduce their families to the processes and technologies used in their day-to-day work.
Tradition Meets Modernity This year, Klingelnberg will open its doors to all interested candidates on one occasion at its long-established headquarters at Peterstrasse 45 and at its assembly shop at Gustav-Adolf-Klingelnberg-Strasse 1, which was newly built in 2022. Klingelnberg has been building large gear manufacturing machines here in the 8,000-square-meter facility since September 2022. These machines are used in particular in the wind power industry.
The Human Resources team will also be available for questions and answers about open positions at Klingelnberg. "Visitors can expect an exciting day with a look behind the scenes at one of the market leaders in the gear manufacturing industry. We will also be happy to inform all participants about career opportunities at our company," says Michael Schwarzer, Director Human Resources at Klingelnberg, directing his remarks at all potential candidates. "What many in our region may not know is that Klingelnberg solutions can be found in almost every industry. For many years now, our main focus has been on the global trends of the future, electromobility, wind energy and automation. In addition to the conventional automotive industry, our solutions are also used in shipbuilding, the aviation industry, agriculture, mill gears, and the general transmission manufacturing industry, among others. A visit to our production facilities is definitely worthwhile," says Schwarzer.
