At this year's traditional Chicago Innovation Days 2023, hosted at DMG MORI USA's headquarters in Hoffman Estates from April 11–14, Machining Transformation (MX) was the omnipresent highlight, including Technology Integration, Automation solutions, Digital Transformation (DX), and Green Transformation (GX).

Two Forest City Gear employees, CNC Supervisor Mike Miller and CNC Lead/Programmer Josh Gates, recently attended a four-day training retreat in Pfronten, Germany hosted by DMG MORI. The event featured various seminars and opportunities for guests to experience firsthand DMG’s newest equipment and technologies, as well as networking and a taste of German culture.

In January 2022, it was announced that DMG MORI Manufacturing USA, Inc. (DMM) would be investing an estimated $3.4 million towards the installation of a 2,000 kilowatt (kW) solar panel system on the roof of its manufacturing site in Davis, California.
