Key to its ongoing strategy to build and nurture strategic relationships with its customers and integrators, Ceratizit has named industry veteran Craig Engler to the new role of Global Key Account Manager as part of its five-year growth plan in the United States. Engler will be tasked with capitalizing on Ceratizit’s worldwide presence to streamline communication and fortify customer relationships to drive business growth.
As a central point of contact for Ceratizit's collaborative partners, key customers, and valuable integrators, Engler will leverage the company’s commitment to innovation and service for better, more productive ways of doing business. With a keen interest in the constant innovations in manufacturing and alliances between colleagues, Engler said that he’s honored to take on this new role as Ceratizit's first Global Key Account Manager. His number one goal is to reinforce the company’s reputation for delivering customer-centric solutions that meet the evolving needs of its strategic global partners.
During his six years as Ceratizit's National Sales Manager for the Midwest sales territory, Engler built strong relationships with customers by helping them overcome their manufacturing and business challenges. As a result of that experience, Engler was a natural fit for the new position, according to Ceratizit Executive Vice President of Sales, Dan Cope.
“We are very fortunate to have Craig move into the role of Global Key Account Manager where he will be responsible for fostering and nurturing relationships on a global scale,” Cope said. “Craig’s ability to provide tailored solutions to our strategic partners will help drive our mutual growth and business outcomes.”
Engler brings 33 years of manufacturing industry experience and expertise to his new role. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution from Eastern Michigan University and holds a Certified Metal Working Professional (CMP) credential. Prior to joining Ceratizit, Engler successfully guided sales, engineering, and integration leadership efforts for several global cutting tool manufacturers and distributors.
