The Production System P-50 is designed to be the fastest way to 3D print metal parts at-scale. Powered by Desktop Metal's Single Pass Jetting technology, the P-50 can achieve speeds up to 100 times those of legacy powder bed fusion additive manufacturing technologies and enable production quantities of up to millions of parts per year at costs competitive with conventional mass production techniques.

At its meeting on December 20, the Annual General Meeting of ZF Friedrichshafen AG elected Rachel Empey, Dr. Feiyu Xu and Dr. Rolf Breidenbach as shareholder representatives on the company’s Supervisory Board. Their five-year term of office begins at the end of the Annual General Meeting in 2023.

The tool manufacturer ANAJ Czech, a.s., which has tested components in said material, was so satisfied with the results that a license agreement has been signed to start manufacturing in-house.
It is with great sadness we share the passing of Robert (Bob) Smith. Bob was a valued member of the AGMA Gear Accuracy technical committee, representing Gleason Works, where he worked as a gear engineer for 38 years. Also, since 1991, he was a Gear Technology technical editor.
Continuing its tradition of strong family and deep community roots, West Ohio Tool is paying its success forward. For every new product sold, the company provides 10 meals to families who are struggling to put food on the table. Since the initiative began Sept. 1, the company has donated the equivalent of 950 meals to Feeding America, a national organization with local resources for Ohio families who live in Auglaize and Champaign counties as well as Logan County, which is home for the company.

To support the production of yet another new Kentucky-designed and built line of machine tools, Mazak has expanded its Florence manufacturing campus with the addition of a new SYNCREX Assembly Plant. The 27,000-square-foot state-of-the-art building combines engineering, production and applications support for the company’s recently launched SYNCREX Series of Swiss-style machine tools designed specifically for precision high production of small parts.
