Fiberfil Engineered Plastics acquired the North American custom compounding unit of DSM Engineering Plastics, effective Dec. 7. Fiberfil acquired the company's North American polypropylene business in conjunction with the manufacturing site in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. At this site, Fiberfil Engineered Plastics operates under the company name Fiberfil Engineered Plastics and will continue to operate under the Fiberfil trademark. The new company will focus on the development and growth of the new and existing polypropylene business.
