EMCO Gear Co. has opened a second plant facility, located in Mooresville, NC and right in the heart of Grand American Road Racing country.
The 72-year-old, family-operated transmission company made the move in order to maintain close ties with a major customer?race car designer and manufacturer Riley Technologies.

and keep up with a major customer,? said Richard Wolfe, EMCO CEO. ?There are more Grand
American Road Racing teams in the southeast quadrant of this country than anywhere else, and
with our established relationships in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, Busch Series and
Craftsman Truck Series, this expansion was beneficial for all facets of the business.?
