KBC Tools & Machinery recently announced the hiring of Mike Pryce to its sales team. Pryce's main responsibility will be to promote KBC Tools to wholesale distributors in the Canadian market. He started in the machine tool business as an apprentice with Sandvik, where he designed special cutting tools. In 1977, Pryce moved to Canada, where he had a three-year contract with Sandvik. He spent the next nine years in a sales role working for Valenite Modco and Tyson Tool. In 1988, Pryce moved to Kar Industrial, where he sold machine and cutting tools for 20 years. "KBC is very lucky to have found someone with his vast knowledge of tools and experience in sales and is very excited that Mike has decided to join the KBC team," says Paula Bass, president of KBC Tools.
