LMC Workholding is no longer partnering with Neidlein Spannzeuge GmbH for the production of face drivers and centers. The partnership between the two companies ended in 2012. LMC has decided to enter into a partnership with Tecnologie FRB and is now producing its next generation of patented face drivers and live centers. “It was difficult to end a 20-year relationship with Neidlein. We had developed a wonderful customer base and expanded and grew the product technology over the years,” said Jay Duerr, president of LMC Workholding. “But we felt the need to continue to focus on new and improving technology and continue a focus on engineering and service, enhanced from our 85,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in the USA and with Tecnologie FRB’s advanced manufacturing facility in Italy. FRB seemed to be more compatible with those goals. However, we are still getting calls from people looking for Neidlein parts and service and we hope we can continue to support them with our new product line.”  

The FRB face drivers feature a patented mechanical compensating system, operated by a wedge lever, which is highly adjustable and reliable in the most difficult conditions. The patented live centers offer exclusive axial load distribution and allows for higher feed rates and deeper cuts. A very high live center thrust can also be applied to the process with this patented center.
