To recognize the progress made over the past four years in strengthening American manufacturing through the Manufacturing USA program, the National Economic Council will highlight new institutes and the real impact existing Manufacturing USA institutes are already having ‪on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Washington, D.C. at the White House. ITAMCO's Joel Neidig has been asked to speak at the event.
Since the first institute was awarded in 2012, Manufacturing USA has grown to a network of manufacturing innovation institutes located across the country. Federal investments of over $700 million in the institutes have had a catalytic impact, attracting over $1.4 billion in non-federal investment for collaborative, precompetitive research and development to transition groundbreaking manufacturing technologies out of the lab and into production.
As this Administration comes to a close, they want to acknowledge the rapid growth and early successes of Manufacturing USA with the stakeholders who have worked tirelessly on behalf of this program. Please join Neidig and others for this final Manufacturing USA event of the Obama Administration. Visit the website below from 2:00 to 5:00 pm (Eastern Time) today to stream the event live.
