Alfredo Fernández-Sisón is the leader of the wind gearbox engineering unit at Siemens Gamesa-Gearbox Division where he has been working for almost 20 years. Alfredo is a member of the IEC61400-4 international committee for wind turbine gearbox standards and holds degrees from the Universities of the Basque Country-Spain and Cranfield-UK.
