Founded in 1963, AST Bearings is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and a leading supplier of precision bearings and bearing-related products across a wide spectrum of customers, from OEMs to major distributors. We service a wide range of industries including medical, food processing, industrial automation, robotics, and aerospace. The company maintains an extensive inventory of superior quality ball bearings, cylindrical and tapered roller bearings, spherical plain and linear bearings, bushings, rod ends, and much more.
In March of 2022, AST completed a merger with Shuster Corporation located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Shuster brand power transmission products include a wide range of ball and roller bearings and roller chain. In addition, Shuster offers filtration products by Racor, primarily for the marine industry. We are excited to bring these products to our OEM customer base seeking the combination of excellent quality with competitive pricing.
AST and Shuster also provide numerous value-added services such as global sourcing and inventory management, design and application engineering, bearing inspection and failure analysis, and bearing lubrication / re-lubrication services performed in a cleanroom environment at our international headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.
