The Gears Knowledge Center offers a complete overview and understanding of metallic gears. Users learn the different gears available and their classifications based on their relative orientation of the axes of rotation, how they’re manufactured, and the advantages and disadvantages of using each type. Knowing the steps for inspection and being able to identify gear failure modes helps learners understand the importance of monitoring gear performance.
