University of Huddersfield. This one-day seminar from the Metal Improvement Company, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies, provides keynote lectures on surface issues with gear teeth, residual stress implications for transmission design, wear and lubrication of contacting surfaces and influence of surface engineering on high performance gears. Presentations will be given by leaders from David Brown Gear Systems, the University of Huddersfield and Newcastle University.
