LMT Focuses on Excellence Workshop at AMB 2012

It all began some weeks ago, when a film team set off in search of excellent performance on LMT's behalf. They struck gold and were able to produce a total of seven short videos that were viewed for the first time at AMB. Videos included:

• a north German gearwheel producer that was able to massively increase production volumes with an LMT hob;
• an east German mould making company that perfected its milling strategy for a complicated forming tool by collaborating with researchers and LMT experts;
• a south German company that manufactures standard parts and constantly optimizes many details of its production;
• a west German composites machining specialist where a great deal depends on the milling of a crane door.

"We have brought together spectacular examples of applications for LMT tools," explains LMT Marketing Manager Volker Reinsch. "They show how important tools are for the efficiency of production and why everything often depends on our experts' know-how."

At AMB in Stuttgart these examples were the central focus of the Excellence Workshop - the name LMT chose for its fair presentation. Examples of the videos can be found at the LMT website below.
