Marposs President Receives Prestigious Marketing Award

Stefano Possati, president of Marposs S.p.A., received the News Digest Marketing Award for 2004. The award was presented to Possati by the president of News Digest Publishing during their annual meeting in Nagoya, Japan. It was the first time in the award’s 22 year history that a non-Japanese comany has been so highly recognized. Fifty Japanese operators who represent manufacturers selected Possati on the basis of four criteria. According to the company’s press release, Marposs posses the biggest market share of in-process measuring equipment, applies quality metrological technology to a wide range of products,offers worldwide support for specific market integrations and solves countless global in- and post-process measurement applications in workshops.
