Ritchie Named Vice President, Sales Engineering Machine Tools

Mark Ritchie was named vice president, sales engineering machine tools of Star-SU LLC, effective January 11, 2010. His duties include managing machine sales engineering and machine parts and service operations.

Mark began his career at Star-SU in 2005 as a gear tool project engineer and has since filled the roles of GM project manager and manager of machine sales and applications engineering. He came to Star-SU from Gleason Cutting Tools, where he served as a design engineer, specializing in optimizing production strategies for gear manufacturers.

Mark earned both of his degrees, a bachelor of science in industrial technology (2004) and a masters of science in project management and strategic management (2007) from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.
