Solar Manufacturing Names President

James M. Nagy has been appointed president of Solar Manufacturing, Inc. He became vice president of operations in 2002 after joining the Solar family with Solar Atmospheres, Inc. in 2001 as manager of business operations.

"He oversees all general operations of Solar Manufacturing including sales, marketing, accounting, engineering, purchasing and production," says William R. Jones, founder and CEO of the Solar Companies. "Solar Manufacturing has experienced rapid growth over its first six years. This decision will allow me to provide the strategic leadership as the Solar Companies continue to expand."

Nagy began his career in 1984 as a sales engineer with Vacuum Furnace Systems Corporation. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA.

"We have experienced over 40 percent sales growth in 2008 and expect a 25 percent sales growth in 2009," Nagy says. "We plan to thrive, not just survive, in the uncertain years ahead.
