On March 1, 2015 the new joint-venture Star SU International Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. begam operating under the Star SU China brand name. The new company, located in Shanghai, assumed all sales and service-related activities for cutting tools and machine tool technology of both companies. The representative office in Beijing will continue its activity in the same location.

 

The partnership between Samputensili and Star Cutter started in 2002 with the creation of the joint-venture Star SU LLC. in Hoffman Estates, IL (USA), the sole go-to-market organization responsible for sales and distribution of machines and tools in the North American market. In 2014 the partnership was extended to the South American market with the establishment of Star SU do Brasil in Jundiai, Sao Paulo (Brazil).
