Melina Kamratowski studied business administration and mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2021, she has been a research assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University. Her field of research is the simulation and manufacturing of bevel and hypoid gears.
As the challenges in bevel and hypoid gear manufacturing need to be addressed, the objective of this paper is to show the tool and process design can be optimized based on the results of the manufacturing simulation BevelCut.
