Dr. Julia Mazak has been working for Dana Inc. as a Senior Gear Engineer since 2020. Dr. Mazak graduated from RWTH Aachen University in mechanical engineering and has published several papers on bevel gear design, bevel gear manufacturing simulation, and bevel gear production.
As the challenges in bevel and hypoid gear manufacturing need to be addressed, the objective of this paper is to show the tool and process design can be optimized based on the results of the manufacturing simulation BevelCut.
